Abstract

It has been established that almost a third of the failures occurring during the operation of the electronic systems (EU) are caused by operating errors and, in particular, by inadequate maintenance. Such an alarming finding necessitates a serious analysis of the reasons for the deterioration of the operational reliability of electronic products and the search and offering of ways to improve their reliability. This article focuses on the composition, volume, and manner of alternation of restoration procedures conducted during the operation of different types of EU and their impact on operational reliability.
The characteristics of the electronic equipment maintenance are analyzed and several strategies for its implementation have been formulated.
