Abstract

The current paper presents an implementation of series based direct digital synthesis for underwater distance measurement with improved polynomial coefficients and decreased number of computation operations. A computer based model representing the real work of a digital signal processor implementing the presented algorithm is shown. The results are analyzed and compared. It is proven that the presented model is suitable for testing and implementing direct
digital synthesis algorithms.
