Abstract

This article presents an overview of the most common methods for modeling the reliability of electronic products. A classification in terms of the information used in modeling is done. Problems and limitations of the methods are discussed. Guidelines for further work are outlined for improvement of the credibility of the obtained estimates of reliability indexes and the ultimate usefulness of the conducted reliability modeling.
