Abstract

Teaching and learning today are strongly influenced by digital technologies and this trend will continue in the future. The widespread use of mobile devices and mobile internet undoubtedly greatly influences educational processes where potential for improving the quality of learning can be developed through their use. Cloud technologies, the augmented reality and the growth of the educational mobile applications also push the learning by new educational methods. The paper presents an overview of the opportunities for mobile learning in the context of secondary education in Bulgaria and outline some potential positive effects and limitations. Here is also presented a mobile application that can be used as a helper tool in learning Mathematics.
