APPLICATION OF AUTOMATED DESIGN SYSTEMS IN RELIABILITY ANALYSIS OF ELECTRONIC DEVICES
Keywords:
reliability, stress redundancy, CAD systems, Monte Carlo simulationsAbstract
Nowadays the design of modern electronic products is closely related to the use of CAD systems. The capabilities of these systems include simulations of the circuit operation, in order to assess the adequacy of the ongoing processes. The modules for computer simulations can provide and analyze large amounts of data related to working modes of the constituent components of the circuits. In this paper, the possibilities of using such simulation modules to the process of reliability predicting are discussed. An algorithm for reliability evaluation with simulation data is proposed.
