Abstract

Big data is the new buzzword and it concerns enormously large, complex and quickly changing sets of data. Big data is data-driven method for extracting interesting patterns from the data sets, analyzing and using them for further development. This paper presents the Big Data paradigm and suggests some applications within the eLearning realm.
